Did you know... They are called wisdom teeth because they appear later in life when you are older and wiser!?

Wisdom teeth, also called “third molars”, are the last set of molars to erupt in the mouth often between the ages of 14 to 25. When properly aligned and surrounded by healthy gum tissue, wisdom teeth may not have to be removed. Unfortunately, this is not generally the case and eventually the wisdom teeth need to be taken out.
