On February 13th, 2017, Dr. Jorge Perez had the opportunity to sit down with Perry Williams and Andres Quintana from the podcast, Leading the Pack. Created in 2016, Leading the Pack is designed to motivate, inspire and enhance the audiences’ personal development.
Dr. Perez was asked to join in for this podcast to share what motivates him both inside and outside of oral surgery. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Perez expressed his desire to be a hardworking individual was due in large part to his grandparents. Dr. Perez’ grandfather worked 2 to 3 jobs to take care of their family and his grandmother was a school superintendent for numerous years. Seeing the effort and dedication his grandparents put into their careers, Dr. Perez is undoubtedly following in their footsteps.
After graduating with his DMD degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Perez attended Howard University to undergo his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Training. During his training, he worked at different hospitals throughout Washington D.C. such as: Washington Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center, Veterans Affairs, DC, and Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Perez has been with Nu Image for almost 2 years and is the lead oral surgeon of our Wake Forest, NC office.
