Zygoma Dental Implants

State-Of-The-Art Implants By Qualified Oral Surgeons

We Do The Impossible

Thanks to modern advancements in the field of zygoma dental implants, patients who have been told they are not candidates for traditional dental implants or must settle for dentures, can be treated successfully by our surgeons. Placing zygoma implants requires much skill and qualifications, as these types of implants are typically used for the most complex cases. There are very few oral surgeons in the country that place zygoma dental implants. At Nu Image Surgical, we are proud to provide a solution to our patients beyond the ordinary.

What are Zygoma Implants?

Designed specifically for patients with severe bone loss, zygoma implants are tilted and much longer than those used in traditional dental implant procedures. While traditional implants are placed in the jawbone, surgeons utilize the zygomatic implant’s length to securely place them in the patient’s cheekbone. Compared to the maxillary bone, the cheekbone is much denser and provides a solid anchor point for the implant.

Replace Upper Teeth

Zygoma implants are intended to replace teeth in the upper jaw. They can be used to replace an entire arch of missing teeth, severely damaged or decayed teeth, or teeth that have become loose due to severe periodontal disease. Additionally, zygoma implants are an ideal choice for patients who are not candidates for traditional dental implants due to a lack of bone mass. Zygoma implants can also be used in coordination with traditional dental implants to replace both the upper and lower teeth.
