Dr. Neshat is a board certified oral & maxillofacial Surgeon and is the founder of Nu Image Dental Implant Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has pioneered several dental implant procedures in the Triangle, including the use of Zygoma implants and Teeth-in-an-Hourā¢. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. At UNC, he is able to share his knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques as well as mentoring the dental students. Dr. Neshat routinely lectures on the topic of Dental Implants while acting as the Director of Nu-Image Advanced Dental Seminars, a leading educational module for dental professionals in North Carolina. Dr. Neshat lectures to restorative dentists on the latest advancements in dental implant techniques.
Dr. Perez was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He received his DMD degree from University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine in 2011. Upon completion, he completed his four year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC and its associated DC hospitals including: Washington Hospital Center, Childrenās National Medical Center, Veterans Affairs, DC, and Georgetown University Hospital. As part of his training, Dr. Perez completed a craniofacial rotation with Dr. Jeffrey Posnick at Georgetown University Hospital, where he learned and was actively involved in advanced techniques of diagnosis and treatment of developmental jaw deformities and craniofacial reconstruction.
Dr. Perez was also involved in research with Dr. Posnick and worked on a long term retrospective study on hermamandibular elongation ā a specific dentofacial deformity pattern. Their research was accepted by the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in June of 2016 and published online in August of 2016.

Dr. Benzing comes to Nu Image Surgical with over 15 years of oral surgery experience. He is originally from Syracuse, NY. He went to dental school at University of Connecticut where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is a board certified oral surgeon and he is also board certified in dental anesthesiology.
Dr. Benzing enjoys teaching continuing education courses on medical emergencies and protocols, trauma, sedation, wisdom teeth removal and oral cancer screening. Dr Benzing is a certified BLS CPR and ACLS instructor. He was an adjunct professor at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, where he taught local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and medical emergency courses to dental students as well as dental hygienists.
Dr Benzing was a member of the State of Maine Cleft Lip and Palate team treating craniofacial disorders. He was on the Dental Forensics Team through the Office of the State Medical Examiner. Dr Benzing enjoys participating in several different missions for cleft lip and palate and exodontia. Dr. Benzing currently lives in Holly Springs, NC with his wife, Sarah, and three children: Meghan, Julia and William. He enjoys skiing, being outdoors, spending time with his family, watching football and NASCAR. He is a nationally certified USSF soccer coach and has coached his daughterās soccer team for the last 5 years.
Dr. Amandip Kamoh is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon from the Pacific Northwest where she graduated with her Bachelorās Degree in Zoology and a Minor in Women Studies from the University of Washington in 2000. She completed her DDS training at New York University College of Dentistry in 2006. Her Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training was completed in 2011 at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Kamoh was born in India and moved to Seattle, Washington, when she was 2 years old. She lived in Seattle until she moved to New York City for dental school and oral surgery training. Five years post residency, Dr. Kamoh worked in a private practice in Buffalo, NY. During her time in Buffalo, Dr. Kamoh worked closely mentoring oral surgery residents in the operating room at Erie County Medical Center. Dr. Kamoh was the chair of the Womenās Dental Committee as well as a member at large on the Executive Council for the Eighth District Dental Society. Dr. Kamoh has published five articles in the dental community. She has spent time in Ethiopia and the Dominican Republic doing dental outreaches. Currently, she is an adjunct faculty in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department at University of North Carolina.
Dr. Kamoh resides in Cary, NC with her husband, Atul, her son, Aditya, and her daughter, Anjali. Dr. Kamoh is an avid bookworm and she loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys biking and running 5Ks with her husband.
Dr. Immediata has been in practice in Raleigh for over 27 years and calls Raleigh home. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He received his D.M.D. Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then completed his residency in Anesthesia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Prior to entering private practice Dr. Immediata worked in New Orleans Louisiana where he held a joint appointment as head of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Section at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and Clinical Faculty at LSU and Charity Hospital.
Dr. Immediata is married with three adult daughters. He is also the grandfather of seven very active young people. He and his wife, Mary, enjoy spending their free time together having adventures with their children and grandchildren hiking, gardening, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Dr. Petraszko grew up just miles away from the University of Michigan. Thatās where she fell in love with college football and received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2009 as a James B. Angel Scholar. She also received her dental degree, Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 2014. Upon graduation, she moved to Florida to pursue her medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Fl. She earned her license in medicine (MD) May 2018.
Dr. Petraszko enjoyed her time as a resident at the UF Health where she earned the Resident Teaching Award from the department. Her training was completed at a community hospital in downtown Jacksonville where she treated the uninsured, the homeless, and the disadvantaged. She believes in giving back to the community by participating with Ronald McDonald House, American Red Cross, and Give Kids a Smile programs. Dr. Petraszko looks forward to using her knowledge and surgical skills to continue to help those most in need.
Outside of work, Dr. Petraszko is an avid runner, biker and weightlifter. She loves making new and creative healthy meals. Sheās an active person who loves the outdoors from swimming in the ocean to hiking in the mountains with her husband Cody. They enjoy spending time with their puppy, Riggs.
Dr. Addison was born in West Africa and has lived all over the world; Africa, Switzerland, Oklahoma, and Miami to name a few.
He is board eligible and received his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and his MD from the University of Michigan Medical School. He was a Chief Resident Surgeon at the University of Michigan Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Addison is a huge basketball enthusiast and enjoys running, fishing, and traveling in his spare time.
Dr. Rivero was born in Venezuela and moved to the US (Miami, Florida) at the age of 13. She is board eligible and received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) and Master of Science and Certificate in Periodontics from Nova Southeastern University. Her undergrad Bachelor of Science degree was obtained at Florida International University. Dr. Rivero concentrated her studies in Biology and Chemistry while there.
Dr. Rivero is published in the Infection and Immunity Journal (2013) for her research in the Regulation of Rab5 Function during Pagocytosis of Live Pseudomonas auruginosa in Macrophages. She has also done extensive research on the Clinical Comparison of the Treatment of Gingival Recession Defects with and without Advanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin and Investigation of the Healing Role of Angiogenic Proteins.
Dentistry, travelling, fitness, giving back, and her family are Dr. Riveroās passions. She has been able to combine her loves by taking mission trips to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and cities in Florida to provide dental care to those who canāt afford it. She also combines fitness with charities by running for Oral Cancer Research. Sheās completed full and half marathons to find a cure for paralysis and has been involved with events such as āGive Kids a Smileā and āA Day For Children.ā
Dr. Konicki is eager to offer high-quality care
to the North Carolina community. He attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown,
Pennsylvania, where he explored his passions for both art and science by
earning two bachelorās degrees with honors in both biology and music. He then
went on to pursue a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the historic University of
Pennsylvania, during which time he additionally earned a masterās degree in
bioethics. His professional education continued at New York University, where he
earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and served as a resident in Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery, caring for patients at New York Universityās Langone
campus, Bellevue Hospital Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Manhattan Harbor
Veterans Affairs Hospital. His broad training encompassed the full scope of
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dental implants, facial trauma,
corrective jaw surgery, and head and neck cancer. Dr. Konickiās articles have
appeared in leading academic journals including the Journal of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery and Cells Tissues Organs. He has lectured on both the
national and international stage, with research interests in facial
reconstruction, anesthesia, ethics, and patient safety. In his spare time, Dr.
Konicki enjoys reading, playing guitar, sailing, golfing, and mixing tiki
drinks. He lives in Raleigh with his girlfriend and their dog, Jolene.
Dr. JimƩnez was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico where he was the Founder and President of Dental4Life, a non-profit organization that aimed to spread knowledge of oral hygiene in underserved communities and schools on the island.
He is Board Certified in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and found his passion for both oral surgery and periodontics very early. During his formal education Dr. JimƩnez attended four periodontics and one oral surgery externships in prestigious and Ivy League universities.
Upon obtaining his DMD, he moved to Florida and continued his training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery. Dr. JimƩnez has received extensive training in procedures such as dental implants and full mouth rehabilitations, surgical extractions, ridge augmentation, sinus lifts, periodontal plastic surgery, crown lengthening and IV sedation.
